Learning skills will increase the fighting capabilities of your Heroes. To enter the Skills menu, open the main screen of any Hero and tap a corresponding icon in the bottom right corner.
The Skills menu contains the following tabs: Talents, Passive Skills and Masteries.
Talents
Talents are available for Heroes with a star ranking of 3 and higher. Learning talents increases general Attack and Defense stats as well as element specific Attack and Defense stats.
Learning talents requires Talent Points that can be obtained in battles against Giants by dealing damage to a Giant while they are stunned.
There are three types of Talent Points, depending on the star ranking of an attacked Giant:
Common | Legendary | Exclusive |
NOTE! Talent tree can be reset using Gems and you will get 70% of the invested resources back.
Passive Skills
Passive skills are available for Heroes with a star ranking of 5 and higher that have reached level 100. Passive skills grant various bonuses that will surely provide an advantage in battle.
Passive skills can be universal or unique.

Masteries
Masteries are available for Heroes with a star ranking of 4 and higher that have reached level 80. Learning masteries will increase Hero's stats as well as grant new useful skills.
Each mastery has several levels of improvement, and mastery bonuses are stated for the maximum level.
For example, if the mastery has 3 levels of improvement and the mastery bonus gives +15 to Attack stat, it means that each level of the improvement will grant +5 to Attack stat.
Learning masteries requires Fragments of Emptiness that can be obtained by defeating Bosses in Wild Lands.
After learning all available masteries, a Hero gains access to ancient masteries.
Ancient Masteries
Ancient masteries are a special type of passive skills that significantly increase Hero's potential in a battle.
The set of available ancient masteries is the same to all Heroes, no matter their class or group. Only one ancient mastery can be active at a time.
Name |
Description |
Last Gasp |
When player's health falls below 35%, runes of the Hero’s element do not provide opponents with mana. The effect lasts for 3 turns. Can only be used once per battle. |
Defiance |

No Evil Without Good |
When the skill is first used in your team, a random ally is blessed for 3 turns. If this ally’s mana is burned, it will be replaced with the same amount of mana. |
Martyr |
When the skill possessor dies, casts an effect on two random opponent’s Heroes that stops them from gaining mana for 3 turns. |
Blacksmith’s Favor |
Increases the basic parameters of equipment by 10% in battle. |
Learning ancient masteries requires Colorful Fragments that can be received from chest rewards available after defeating high-level Bosses in Wild Lands.
NOTE! Players can always swap their current ancient mastery. The very first swap is available for free, all consecutive ones will require spending some Gems.
Relics
- There are now five mastery ranks available, with each subsequent rank unlocking after fully upgrading the one before it.
- Beginning with Rank II, the upgrade trees include special masteries that need Colored Fragments to unlock. These special masteries can lessen the impact of negative effects on your Heroes' attack and defense or the positive effects on enemy attack and defense.
- Also, starting from Rank II a new Relic menu becomes available.
Relics can further empower the mastery skill trees:
Red Relics empower the attack tree
Blue Relics empower the defense tree
Green Relics empower the health tree
Purple Relics empower attack, defense and health trees simultaneously
At Ranks II, III, IV, and V, Relics of a minimum level are inserted automatically. Please note that the level of the Relic can be viewed at the bottom of its icon.
You can change the inserted Relic at any time, for example, to insert a more powerful one, but the currently inserted Relic will be destroyed! - After inserting 4 Relics of the maximum level for the current Rank, a very special Ancient Wisdom bonus will become available. Please note that the required maximum level can be viewed at the top of the icon.
NOTE! Due to significant changes in how masteries function, their bonuses will be temporarily disabled during tournaments. Once the masteries are properly adjusted, they will be re-enabled for tournament play.
Ancient Wisdom
Players can choose one of the five available Ancient Wisdom skills, each enhancing already equipped relics and providing additional bonuses.
The more maximum level Relics are inserted at every Rank, the more potent the bonuses provided by the Ancient Wisdom will be.
NOTE! Similar to Ancient Mastery, the Ancient Wisdom skill is the same across all Ranks. And like Ancient Mastery, the Ancient Wisdom skill can be changed.
Counterattack |

Magic Absorption |

NOTE! The more ranks are fully upgraded, the stronger the effect of the selected Ancient Wisdom skill. If the rank is fully upgraded, you will see the green diamond on the rank icon.
Relic Upgrade
Relics are upgraded at the Relic Altar, accessible via the Ancient Beasts map.
To obtain a Relic of a higher star ranking, players will need either Gold or Power Stones along with three lower star ranking level Relics.
