Experience is the basic parameter of your Kingdom that helps your character level up. In order to level up you need to collect experience points in Campaign and Adventures.
Certain level ups will give you additional resources and energy points refills. You can see your current level and experience bar in the upper part of the game screen. If you tap on your avatar you'll see more info on your account.
