BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY ENHANCEMENTS
Battle for Supremacy is a core challenge that showcases the true might and dedication of clans. We have been closely monitoring the overall balance of this game mode, as well as player feedback, and today we’d like to highlight some major changes coming in Season 20.
Conqueror's Path
Battle for Supremacy now features chained quests to complete. These include, but are not limited to, Coliseum attacks, castle sieges, using Fortification Points, defeating enemy Heroes, utilizing Units, and more.
Completing these quests will reward you with special chests containing:
- Royal and Imperial Coins
- Equipment Shards
- Unique Hero equipment items
- Other valuable rewards
As a result, all Battle for Supremacy participants can now earn significantly more rewards!
Quest progress resets at the end of each Battle for Supremacy.
Battle for Supremacy Rewards
- Now, both clan and personal rewards are displayed in a single block. The total amount of rewards (Royal and Imperial Coins) remains unchanged.
- Rewards for participation and victory in Battle for Supremacy have also been improved. The top players in clans that place 11th-20th will now receive guaranteed Imperial Coins. The chance to receive Imperial Coins in the end-of-season chest has been increased.
Controlling the Kingdom
Up until Season 20, a Kingdom was controlled by the clan that accumulated more than half of the Kingdom's stars by sieging and capturing castles. However, we noticed that this requirement was too difficult, and almost no clan was able to fully control a Kingdom.
Starting in Season 20, this rule will change: The Kingdom will now be controlled by the clan that accumulates the most stars out of all clans that participated in the battle.
NOTE! If two or more top clans accumulate the same number of stars, none will gain control over the Kingdom.
- The star ranking of the capital of Astorus Kingdom has been reduced from 6 to 5.
- The number of Supremacy Points for capturing a Kingdom has been recalculated accordingly.
IMPORTANT! Captured Kingdoms only score points on the final day of the Battle for Supremacy.
Call to Arms
Strategy and tactics are crucial in any Battle for Supremacy.
Clan leaders can now coordinate castle sieges more effectively by using the new Call to Arms button. This button is available in the menu of every castle eligible for sieging. Pressing it will highlight the corresponding castle for all clan members on the general map. It will also send a message in the clan chat and trigger a push notification for all clan members!
This should drastically improve communication among clan members participating in sieges!
Rebalance of Coliseum
Coliseum battles are the main source of Army Points, but previously, players had to play 8 battles to earn the maximum available points. This was quite a repetitive task.
Thus, the following adjustments have been introduced:
- The number of daily Coliseum battles has been reduced from 8 to 5, but the number of Army Points has been increased accordingly. Earning Army Points should now be faster.
- Filling the Coliseum Chest now requires 3 points instead of 5. Chests now contain more Fortification Points and Units.
- As the total Hero team Power has significantly increased since the first Battle for Supremacy, a fourth enemy is now available to ensure fair matchmaking. There is also an increased number of Army Points available for battling this enemy.
Rebalance of Castle Attack and Defense
Capturing and holding castles is the core and most exciting activity in any Battle for Supremacy! Many battles have already been fought, so it’s time for adjustments and improvements:
- Castle attackers' energy has been increased to 4, allowing players to use their favorite Heroes more frequently and rotate their Hero teams less.
-
The castle Health boost from using Fortification Points has been increased.
For example: Using 200 Fortification Points now boosts castle Health by 300 (previously, 400 Fortification Points were required for this amount of Health boost). The number of personal rating Battle Points received for using Fortification Points has been recalculated accordingly. - The number of Supremacy Points received for holding a castle after capture has been increased. Holding a castle is very challenging, but now even more rewarding!
- The number of Hero teams required to defend a castle has been increased.
-
The base stats of all Units have been increased.
For example: 10 Archers now deal 300 damage instead of 200. - Three new Units with unique abilities are now available! To accommodate this, the number of Units that can be taken into a castle siege has been increased from 3 to 4.
Unit Type | Description | Bonus Army Points provided by 1 unit |

Catapult |

NOTE! Starting from Season 20, the Warlock Unit will no longer be available, but it may return in later seasons.
EQUIPMENT UPGRADES
Equipment star ranking increase
You can now upgrade unique equipment for your favorite Heroes, increasing its star ranking and stats. To do this, you will need a basic one-red-star equipment item (such as the Tyrant or Destroyer sets) and certain duplicates of unique equipment.
Equipment Shards
You can also use Equipment Shards to upgrade unique Hero equipment. Equipment Shards for each Hero will become available gradually over time. For example, during the upcoming Battle for Supremacy, you will be able to obtain Dakatsu Equipment Shards as rewards from the Conqueror’s Path or by purchasing them in the shop.
Every equipment item can hold up to 5 shards.
Shard types are unique to both the Hero and the equipment item. For example, you cannot embed glove shards into armor.
Each embedded shard increases the item's base stats by 20%. By filling all 5 shard slots in a single item, you can select one of three unique bonuses for that item.
You can select a different unique bonus for each item. However, if you choose the same bonuses, they will stack!
You can change an item’s unique bonus for free at any time.
Dakatsu equipment items with all shard slots filled will let you choose between the following bonuses:

But that’s not all! When this update goes live, ALL PLAYERS will receive a special gift to test out the changes mentioned above:

- A chest containing one red-star equipment item
- A chest with ANY unique equipment item of your choice!
