For the kingdoms of Puzzle Breakers, one of the scariest periods of the year is approaching: daylight is shortening, and mysterious creatures are roaming the world. Since ancient times, rumors have circulated that they are controlled by a powerful prince of the Darkness element, but no one alive today can confirm this information. Is he a friend or a foe? Perhaps you will be the one to find out. Participate in the new event, and try your best to impress the prince and recruit a loyal ally.
The event starts on October 22, so get ready to participate in several activities:

New mini-game. Use keys to open doors in the tower; each door can lead to a failure or another door to open. Test your luck and try to open as many consecutive doors as you can until you reach the end, where you can claim a very special key. Use this key to open one of the Treasury chests and collect unique rewards.
NOTE! The mini-game is considered completed after you open all the chests in the Treasury.
- A new event summon, that will provide an opportunity to recruit Lord Valentine!
Lord Valentine is a master of nocturnal creatures, especially bats! He can send them upon your enemies to deal damage with vampirism and defense decrease effects. And if you manage to stack enough bats on a single enemy, that enemy's next Special Skill will be nullified.
We'd recommend teaming up Lord Valentine with the following Heroes:

Gerhard the Slayer can burn mana, so together with Lord Valentine they can totally disrupt enemy Special Skill use

Blind Seer (and other Heroes with mana replenishing abilities) will allow Lord Valentine to stack more bats on the enemies

Cleo and Lord Valentine can deal tremendous amounts of damage together
- Nectaria (and other Heroes that can apply negative effects) will weaken the enemies and make them an easy prey for Lord Valentine's bats

NOTE! After the event ends, all unspent event resources will be automatically deleted from the inventory.
Also, we are adding the Encyclopedia that will help you understand all current stats available in the game. This should make the game mechanics more transparent and help both newcomers and veteran players alike.
To access the Encyclopedia, open the main window of any Hero and tap All Stats in the bottom-right corner.
And of course, plenty of tweaks and adjustments to further enhance everyone's gaming experience!
Archipelago
- You will notice a slight increase in Power for Heroes with pets. The reason is that previously, pets’ power increased with every change of the star ranking color, but now their power increases with each new star
- Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the gathering and unloading timers from showing properly
- Leveling up the Captain's Path will once again show the overall progress bar; tap it to browse all levels of the path
Contests
- Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the game to hang when attempting to enter an already finished contest
- A separate icon for already finished contests is available across all Kingdoms
Tournaments and Battle for Supremacy
- The icons of the Heroes selected for participation now show owned pets, if any
Localization
- Fixed various font issues for Asian languages on devices with iOS 18
