A rare ruler can say no to a game of Chess — what better way to show one's wits, strategic thinking, and ability to plan ahead? However, the talk of the day is that two new Heroes have arrived from the Kingdom of Tauveron and can offer a challenge worthy of a seasoned grandmaster!
The event starts on August 7 and will consist of two parts.
Part I
Complete quests to get special resources — Tournament Tickets and Royal Badges. Use these to get rewards at the Lucky Gambit and open Surprise Boxes, respectively.
Also, get ready to meet the first Hero of this big event — White Queen! She is a master of Light runes and provides such powerful healing that it can neither be decreased nor completely blocked.
As part of the defending team, Queen's Gambit curses all Light runes, allowing them to stack with other cursed runes. At the end of each round, she heals her allies for every cursed rune on the board. Therefore, White Queen is a perfect match for other Heroes capable of rune cursing.
As part of the attacking team, the Queen can activate all Light runes on the board.
One universal ability that works in either team is taking reduced damage from enemies of the Darkness element.
Players will also be able to get unique items for White Queen:

Part II
A unique event summon will become available in the second part of the event, so make sure to use special emblems to get a new Hero — Black Queen!
Black Queen is the twin sister of White Queen, and although Light and Darkness are completely opposite, it doesn't always mean they are sworn enemies. The Queens are a perfect example: their true potential can be unleashed when they are part of the same team.
As part of a defending team, at the end of each round, Black Queen deals additional damage for every cursed rune on the board. As part of an attacking team, she can activate all Darkness runes.
Just like her twin sister, Black Queen's curse can stack with other cursed runes, and she also takes reduced damage from enemies of the opposite element — Light. But one detail stands out: Black Queen can't miss with her Special Skill!
Players will also be able to get unique items for Black Queen:
