Version 19.0 Release Notes – Puzzle Breakers

There is a certain unrest in the Kingdoms of Puzzle Breakers as they are being covered by an unusually dark night. Even if nobody knows for sure whether this phenomenon will reveal enemies or new allies, an exciting adventure is guaranteed! Heed the call of Jack-O’-Lantern and join his venture in the mysterious forest to uncover the truth behind the dark magic disturbances!

The adventure starts on October 20 and will last for 13 days. All players who have completed the New Player event will be able to participate.

New heroes

During the event, you will be able to enlist the support of powerful Heroes and their otherworldly abilities.

Midday Maiden

Her charming looks can be deceiving because she can burn the enemy mana in the blink of an eye. She is tough to defeat, especially in defending teams where her resurrection ability shines especially bright.

You can also get the following unique equipment for Midday Maiden during the event:

Talisman "Sunrise Necklace"

At the start of the round, there is a chance to grant invulnerability to the ally currently possessed by a Sun Spirit.

Artifact “Bright Kokoshnik”

Increases the defense of the ally currently possessed by a Sun Spirit.
After resurrection, heals the ally that was previously possessed by a Sun Spirit.
Each time the Midday Maiden dies, she curses the runes in a 3x3 area. At the end of the round, the ally currently possessed by a Sun Spirit is healed for every cursed rune. If nobody is possessed by a Sun Spirit, the healing is forwarded to the most wounded ally.

Equipment

Increases the amount of Health replenished to Midday Maiden after resurrection.

Scarecrow

Reanimated by an unknown dark ritual, this Hero strikes true fear into his enemies. He's the only exclusive Hero that can decrease the enemy Defense parameter. Moreover, with the Spooky Lantern equipped, the decrease will begin to affect all enemies on the battlefield while granting the Scarecrow himself immunity to any defense decrease effects.

You can also get the following unique equipment for Scarecrow during the event:

Talisman "Eerie Raven"

In the attacking team, adds a chance to completely negate an enemy's Special Skill. This effect can trigger several times per battle.

Artifact "Spooky Lantern"

Grants the Hero immunity to defense decrease effects.
After dying, a Shadow deals damage and decreases the defense of everyone on the battlefield.
After dying, a Shadow amplifies the defense decrease effect.

Equipment

After dying, a Shadow deals additional damage and even more extra damage to Light enemies.

Jack-O'-Lantern

One of your favorite Heroes can be further enhanced with new unique items.

Artifact “Cursed Pumpkin”

The Hero's Special Skill can now steal vampirism-based healing.
As long as this Hero is alive, enemies that don't have Ravens’ Curse applied have their incoming healing reduced.
Increases the duration of Ravens’ Curse by 1 round.

Equipment

Damage inflicted by the Special Skill partially ignores the defense of Priest class enemies.

Plot missions

There are five main chapters available, and each begins on a certain event day according to a timer.

You will be managing predetermined Hero teams to try to complete all missions. These teams will include new Heroes as well, so you can have a perfect opportunity to test them out in battle!

Magic Cauldron

You will need Magic Torches to fire up the Magic Cauldron.

The Magic Cauldron is a source of many rewards, but the most precious are the shards of Scarecrow and Jack-O’-Lantern.

Mysterious forest

To journey deep into the Mysterious Forest, you will need to get some Sickles first.

As soon as you can find a Magic Tree, you can refresh the map and move to a new part of the forest. Or you can stay and continue the exploration to find all hidden rewards of the current section.

Sooner or later, you should find an Abandoned Cemetery. We recommend making a thorough search here, as a cemetery contains more valuable rewards than usual!

Quests

Complete various tasks to get resources, chests, as well as different types of event currencies:

Magic torch	Required to fire up the Magic Cauldron
Sickle	Use it to clear up a section of the Mysterious Forest
Magic candle	Event shop currency associated with Scarecrow
Midnight Coin	Event shop currency associated with Scarecrow
Straw doll	Event shop currency associated with Midday Maiden
Midday Coin	Event shop currency associated with Midday Maiden

Apart from completing quests, these currencies can be obtained by opening chests or purchasing special offers.

Event Shop

The shop has two sets of items: for Midday Maiden and Scarecrow, correspondingly.

Collect Straw Dolls and Midday Coins to purchase Midday Maiden items.

Straw Dolls can be obtained by completing quests or by opening Midday Maiden Figurines.

Midday Coins can be obtained in the Mysterious Forest and in the Abandoned Cemetery.

Main rewards here are shards of Midday Maiden and her unique equipment items.

Collect Magic Candles and Midnight Coins to purchase Scarecrow items.

Magic Candles can be obtained by completing quests and firing up the Magic Cauldron.

The Magic Cauldron can also reward you with special chests with Midnight Coins inside.

Main rewards here are shards of Scarecrow and Jack-O’-Lantern as well as unique equipment items.
